This role sits within a fast-growing and highly specialized private equity firm focused on complex GP-led secondaries transactions in the lower middle market and middle market across North America. Founded in 2016, the firm has built a strong reputation in a niche segment of the private equity market and manages over $2.4 billion in regulatory AUM. With ambitious growth plans over the next 12-24 months, the firm is expanding its New York-based capital formation function and is seeking a highly motivated investment professional to support fundraising and investor relations initiatives. What the job involves
• Supporting all aspects of private equity capital formation, including fundraising execution, investor outreach, LP due diligence and ongoing investor servicing
• Preparing, maintaining and updating investor-facing materials such as presentations, DDQs, PPMs, financial models and marketing materials
• Communicating with existing and prospective investors regarding fund performance, investment activity and firm updates
• Coordinating responses to a wide range of investor requests, working closely with internal teams including accounting, operations and compliance
• Assisting with investor targeting, outreach and follow-up efforts alongside senior members of the Capital Formation team, including participation in LP meetings, roadshows, conferences and investor events
• Maintaining and updating the firm's investor CRM system, ensuring accuracy of existing and prospective LP information
• Supporting new firmwide business initiatives as needed in a lean, entrepreneurial environment Who we are looking for
• A Bachelor's degree with several years of relevant experience in investment banking, private equity, private credit, investment management or secondaries
• Strong analytical and financial modeling capabilities, paired with clear and effective written communication skills
• A strong interest in private equity fundraising, investor relations and relationship-driven roles
• Ability to work autonomously while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• High attention to detail, strong organizational skills and a proactive, self-starter mindset
• Willingness to travel and participate in investor meetings, events and conferences
• An entrepreneurial personality with a desire to contribute across a broad range of responsibilities #LI-BW1
